Project Description (IEARN link)
- Side By Side celebrates the unique individuality of each of
your students through art as they produce elongated self-portraits on
paper approximately 8 x 36 inches. This is a terrific way to start your
school year because you will get to know a lot about your students as
they create self-portraits that include symbols about their past, present,
and future. After your class has created self-portraits, hang them all
side by side to represent the way that many individuals can come together
to create a better world.
Solar

- Participants are invited to experiment with alternative energy uses
by making, testing and using solar cookers. Recipes, construction tips,
experiments and research findings will be shared on line and compiled
on a web site.
Labs

Folktales

- Children all over the world know "Three Little Piglets", "Sleeping
Beauty" and "Cinderella". Unfortunately they know little
about folk tales of their own country and they often know nothing about
folk tales in other countries. We invite you to introduce your folk tales
and to become acquainted with the iEARN countries' folk tales.

Bullying

around the world with cope with being bullied and teased. www.bullying.org
uses the power of the Internet to let their others know that people dealing
with the issues of bullying and teasing "Are NOT alone. That being

Beauty of the Beasts (MCDS link)

students from around the world. Beauty of the Beasts invites children
to capture the grandeur and magnificence of animals indigenous to their
areas through original artwork and poetry.
